Lemon Rice
Gather all ingredients together first: 2 minutes
Pre-cut all vegetables: 3 minutes
Cooking time: 15 minutes
Ingredients:

| Channa dal (yellow gram) |

10 to 15 ml |

| Turmeric powder |

| Mustard Seeds |

| Coriander Leave |
5-10 g |

| Salt |

| Peanuts |
20 g (optional) |

Recipe:

Finely chop onions, green chillies, garlic, and ginger.

Boil rice in a pot.

Heat the frying pan and add 2 tbsp of oil.

Add cumin seeds, mustard, and once it begins to sizzle add curry leaves, red chillies; stir for a few seconds.

Add ginger, green chillies, and garlic; stir for a few seconds.

Add onions and fry until golden brown.

Add turmeric powder; stir for a minute.

Add salt to taste and lemon juice; stir for a few minutes.

Add boiled rice, being careful not to break up the grains too much.

Garnish with roasted peanuts (optional) and serve it on a plate.
