Channa Masala (Chickpeas Curry)
Gather all ingredients together first: 2 minutes
Pre-cut all vegetables: 3 minutes
Cooking time: 10 minutes
Ingredients:

| Oil |

| Ginger and garlic paste |

| Garam masala powder |
¼ tsp |
| Black pepper powder |
¼ tsp |
| Red chillies powder |
¼ tsp |
| Turmeric powder |
¼ tsp |
| Cumin Seeds |
½ tsp |
| Tamarin paste |
¼ tsp |
| Salt |
to taste |
Recipe:

Finely chop onions and slice tomato.

Heat the frying pan and add 2 tbsp of oil.

Add cumin seeds and once it begins to sizzle add onions and fry until golden brown.

Add ginger and garlic paste and stir it for a few seconds.

Add red chillies powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, garam masala and black pepper powder.

Stir it for a minute.

Add in tomato slices, sprinkle salt to taste and fry it again till it melts.

Add Tamarind paste, stir it.

Add chickpeas and cook it for 6-7 minutes. Stir it occasionally.

Serve with roti/naan bread(Indian bread).
