Cauliflower Bhaje (South Indian style)

Gram flour (Besan)

40 g

Oil
|
250 g
|
|
Red chillies powder
|
¼ tsp
|
|
Turmeric powder
|
¼ tsp
|
|
Salt
|
to taste

Recipe:

Cut cauliflower in small pieces.

In a bowl, add gram flour (besan), red chillies powder, turmeric powder and salt (to taste) with bit of water. Make it as thick batter.

Add oil to a frying pan and heat the oil until hot, then reduce the flame to medium level.

One by one, dip cauliflower pieces in batter and then deep fry it, till it turns to be a golden brown.

Drain the excess oil on paper towel.

Serve it on a plate with any chutney/sauce/dip of your choice.
