Cabbage and Coconut Salad

 
Gather all ingredients together first:  2 minutes

Gather all utensils and lay out on counter:  2 minutes

Preparation time:  5 minutes

 

Ingredients: 

 
Green chillies 1 (optional)
Grated coconut ¼ cup
Grated cabbage ½ cup
Cumin seeds ¼ tsp
Salt to taste
Yoghurt 1 cup

 

 
Recipe:
 
  • Finely chop green chillies.
  • Heat the frying pan and add cumin seeds; roast it for a few seconds.  Make it as a powder.
  • Beat the yoghurt into a creamy consistency; add salt and grated coconut, grated cabbage, cumin seed powder, then mix it well.
  • Keep in refrigerator for 10 minutes.
  • Serve it as a side for meals, rice/naan bread/roti.
