Aloo (Potato) Bonda (South Indian style)

Ingredients:
Potato

Gram flour (Besan)

Red chillies powder
½ tsp
Turmeric powder
½ tsp
Salt
to taste
Recipe:
Peel the potato and carrot then cut in small cubes; boil the potato and half boil the carrot.
Mash the potato.
Heat the frying pan and add 2 tsp of oil.
Add onion and fry it till it is golden brown, then add mash potato, carrot, and peas and add ¼ tsp of turmericpowder, ¼ tsp of red chillies powder, and bit of salt, then mix it well for 2 minutes and let the mixture cool.
Form the mixture into a small round ball shape.
In a bowl, add gram flour (besan), red chillies powder, turmeric powder and salt (to taste) with bit of water.Make it as thick batter.
Add oil to a frying pan and heat the oil until hot, then reduce the flame to medium level.
One by one, dip the mixed ball in batter and then deep fry it, till it turns to be a golden brown.
Drain the excess oil on paper towel.
Serve it on a plate with any chutney/sauce/dip of your choice.
